How many of us are guilty of filling our phones and hard drives of memories that will never be seen? Moments that are never shared outside of social media? When I was a child, digital media didn’t exist. We’ve become spoiled with the digital era but it’s also become normalized to share our photos with people through a screen. I love offering a different option to my clients. An option to showcase photos from their session in ways that are unique and special and compliment their home and their lifestyle. Yes, you can still have the digital copies. But when hiring a professional photographer, you should also walk away with a tangible, professional product.
This collage is one of the unique products that I offer. Only available from @theoriginalphotoblocksnl - hand created and made with love.
If you’re a photographer and you’re looking to add professionally curated products as an added value to your clients but aren’t sure how to do it or where to start, come join me at the @maternity.and.newborn.summit this July in Dallas. I’ll walk you through my process step-by-step, and send you off with some tools to help you get started. You can use code DAWN through the end of this month to save $200 on your ticket....
The hands of my youngest baby (who is now 13) are officially bigger than mine. Every person is my house is taller than me. What I wouldn’t give to have photos like these that captured just how tiny they were when they first arrived earth side.
One day, this momma will look back at these photos and remember this moment and smile.
I capture images like this not just for today. But for tomorrow, and next year, and 20 years from now, and so on. That’s the beauty of photography. It takes a moment in time and preserves it forever.
I realize how cheesy and ridiculous I sound but my baby just turned 13 and I’m feeling a bit nostalgic. ❤️...
