Do you know those sessions where you get the perfect combination of sleepy/awake/solo/family/sibling photos? Well, this was one of those sessions! I met this family a few years ago when I photographed their maternity session when their little girl was in momma’s belly. Over the course of a couple of years, I’ve gotten to see them and gotten to know them and I’m just so blessed that they continue to choose me over and over to capture those precious moments in their lives. This little man peeking at me with his curious eyes… I was smitten from the start.

Beckett | Tacoma Cake Smash Photographer

It’s been such a strange time; photographing sessions with babies while wearing a mask isn’t an easy thing to do. Most babies haven’t really been out much since the pandemic began and stranger danger is a very real thing at this age. When this little man came in to see me he was ALL SMILES. It didn’t happen right away, but that’s okay because the important part is that IT HAPPENED! Sharing a few of my favorites from this little man’s cake smash session. Asher | Tacoma Newborn & Family Portraits Session

Would you believe me if I told you that I photographed big brother’s newborn session when he arrived, too? It’s pretty incredible the number of clients I have coming back with their second and third newborns. I feel so blessed to be able to do this for a living. I love the gorgeous earthy tones that momma wanted to incorporate for Asher’s session. And his skin tone was so beautiful that he would have looked good on any color.

Iris | Tacoma Newborn Baby Photographer

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this beautiful family several years ago when they welcomed their baby boy. It was an absolute honor to photograph them again when they welcomed their little girl. When momma told me that Iris was a rainbow baby, I decided to incorporate some set ups into their session that would celebrate just how special this week little miracle happens to be. Cole | Seattle Newborn Portrait Session

I met this sweet boy last Fall when he came into the studio for his Seattle Newborn Portrait Session. Momma wanted shades of blue, olive, and grey incorporated and I think we did a pretty good job of creating a great variety of images from his photo session that will coordinate well no matter how they are displayed. I think my favorites might the ones photographed in the blue… I do love a great baby in a bucket photo!
