This gorgeous baby girl came in for her newborn session and immediately melted my heart. Momma wanted to use a combination of soft pinks and creamy tones which really highlighted her features and her full head of dark hair. She even flashed me a giant smile when I tucked her into my little newborn cradle.

Parker and Elliot | Kirkland Newborn Photographer

I love photographing twins. It’s probably not too surprising. I mean, I love photographing babies so when I have two babies instead of just one, it’s like hitting the baby jackpot! Little Parker and Elliot were identical twin boys. They were almost exactly the same size and made almost exactly the same faces. In my side by side comparisons, there are some where they look so much alike that you can’t even tell the difference between the two!

I spent the majority of the session photographing these two both individually and together, and then at the very end we were able to wrap them both up nice and tight and put them in daddy’s hands for a few shots with their gorgeous parents.

Benjamin | Newborn Photography Issaquah

Benjamin was just a tiny little 5lb baby when he came in for his newborn session. Mom and dad really wanted to capture some images of him awake but when they arrived, little Ben had one thing on his mind… sleep! He was super cooperative, too! And then just as I was switching fabrics for his beanbag, he decided to open his little eyes and show me those gorgeous little peepers. I especially loved his facial expressions.

Ezra’s Cake Smash | Kirkland Baby Photographer

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Ezra and his family when he was a teeny tiny little newborn baby. I jumped at the opportunity to see them all again and photograph his one year session! Since his mommas really wanted to get some family images of them all together, we decided to piggyback a mini studio session with an outdoor family session so they could get everything they wanted with one session.

We started in the studio and got a few of his cute little smirks before moving onto the cake smash portion. I have to say, seeing him get to work on his cake was pretty darn cute! He was super serious and quite focused! And when we finished up, we headed up to one of my favorite outdoor spots in Issaquah just in time for the sunset. That’s when Ezra really came out of his shell.

You can feel all the love in their family photos. The bond they share, the connection they have … very sweet and heartwarming.

Jack Newborn | Baby Photographer in Seattle

This is little Jack. Jack’s momma and I have known each other for many years. I was so honored when she chose to make the long trek out to Issaquah for her newborn session. This little mister wasn’t all that interested in sleeping, but when his eyes were open, they were alert and focused. Something that doesn’t happen all that often with a newborn baby.

Mom and Dad are UW alums so it was super important to include a little Husky attire to show off their college pride! But my favorite photo was the one we took of Jack with his grandpa’s old baseball mitt. And the little grin he flashed while I captured the image couldn’t have been more perfect.
