This kid. You guys, I can’t even. I’ve been photographing this awesome family for the past 3 years. Literally since I started my business. Two maternity sessions. Two newborn sessions. Two cake smash sessions. And I’m pretty sure there was an outdoor mini session or two somewhere in the mix. It has been SO FUN watching these kids get older and seeing their little personalities come to life in front of the camera.

Little Brighton was ALL SMILES. And those humongous gorgeous blue eyes … I can’t even. Those are his real eyes, people. They are not edited! And the photos with his big sister, Aspen… swoon. Okay, sharing some of my favorites from his one year cake smash session.

Bellevue Newborn Photography Session | Naria

Bellevue newborn photography session with baby girl Naria. Dawn Potter The Newborn Whisperer has a commercial studio located in the heart of downtown Issaquah, just minutes from Bellevue. Dawn serves clients throughout the greater Seattle area.

Sweet little Naria came in for her newborn session just after she turned 2 weeks old. She had the most gorgeous skin tone and her little features were to die for. Momma really wanted to use some soft pinks in her daughter’s session so we made sure to include it throughout.

Kirkland newborn photographer | baby girl Harper

Kirkland newborn photographer Dawn Potter Photography is located just outside of Kirkland in downtown Issaquah.

When momma told me that she was a really big Kate Spade fan, I instantly thought of black, white and pink for colors. And bows, and stripes and polka dots! I’m a pretty big Kate Spade fan myself, so I squealed a bit when momma told me she was bringing a few Kate inspired headbands along for the session.

Little Harper was a sleepy little peanut. I don’t think she opened her eyes until the very end when we placed her in her momma’s arms. She even flashed us a few little smiles along the way. I’m sharing a few of my favorites from her session from last year.

Renton Newborn Photographer, Dawn Potter has a photography studio located just north east of Renton in downtown Issaquah. The studio is fully equipped with everything you need to complete your newborn session. Hats, headbands, wraps, outfits, props, etc.

When I booked this little man’s newborn session, momma had let me know it was their first time getting photos taken as a family. I was so honored to be the one to capture this special time in their lives. Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, but they made my job so easy! I think their family photos might be some of my all time favorites. Sharing a few of my other favorites below.

In all honesty, I photographed this session quite a long time ago. Back when my newborn photography studio was in Maple Valley. I’m looking forward to seeing these guys in a few short months for my summer mini sessions!

Summer mini sessions are finally here and are available for booking BEGINNING MAY 27TH! I will only be offering a handful of dates and locations this year. Please be sure to review the details of each listing carefully to select a location and date that fits your needs.

What is a mini session?

A mini session is an outdoor session, ideal for families up to 6 people. These sessions are generally pretty quick which is ideal for families with little ones. These are the only sessions I offer that are all inclusive – meaning the session fee itself includes digital images; no additional purchase is necessary. You will have two options when booking your mini session.

Option #1 – 20 minute session $350 – includes 10 edited high resolution images, delivered 2-3 weeks after your session via online gallery.

Option #2 – 45 minute session or Sunset Session $550 – includes 20 edited high resolution images, delivered 2-3 weeks after your session via online gallery.

These will likely be the ONLY outdoor mini session dates available for 2017. Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions before booking.

**Mini session dates have been scheduled for August as we typically have had good weather locally. Sessions are rain or shine, however in the event of extreme inclement weather, sessions may be rescheduled at the photographer’s discretion.
