I had the privilege of meeting this momma a few years ago when I photographed her little boy and it was such a pleasure seeing them again and being able to photograph their brand new baby girl. Mom chose a lovely color palette filled with beautiful, colorful tones and we included some ivory to give her some timeless images as well. Truthfully, I am so far behind ob sharing galleries online that it seems like ages ago when I photographed this session. Currently, I am booking about 6-8 weeks in advance. I highly recommend booking as soon as you enter your third trimester to guarantee availability for your due date. When I say I have the best job in the world, I am not messing around. Most days, I am at the studio, photographing these tiny little humans. Soothing them, snuggling them, posing them… They sleep, they are awake, they eat, they poop, they pee, they cry… not necessarily in that order… and I can assure you that at the end of the day, there is nothing else I’d rather be doing to earn an income for my family than this.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this family a handful of times over the past several years. First, photographing their two girls and now, photographing their new family welcoming this sweet baby boy. We had an amazing session’ capturing eye open photos, sleepy newborn poses, and we even shot a series of macros capturing all his tiny little details including his full head of hair.

It’s not very often that I have the opportunity to photograph big families! And this one was amazing. The little man slept like a champ! He and his whole family graced my portrait studio from Kirkland. It was such a pleasure having them here and I was thrilled with the way this shoot tuned out.

I wasn’t sure if it was possible for me to find another place that I loved photographing maternity sessions as much as I do in my spot near Rainier but photographing this session proved that it was. I had the privilege of photographing Michelle’s maternity session a few years ago when her little girl was just a little bean in her belly and I was more than thrilled to be able to do this again for them. Our original location was sadly unavailable due to the wildfires over the summer so we had to improvise on short notice and find a new spot. I don’t think any of us were the least bit disappointed. Sharing a few of my favorites from Michelle’s session below. The gown she is wearing is from my client closet featuring gowns from Sew Trendy.
