This little man stole my heart with his full head of hair and his sleepy smiles. Momma wanted to use some blues and greens and earthy tones during his session and I think it all came together beautifully. Every time I set up for a newborn session, I pre-style everything ahead of time so I have all the props and fabrics, and accessories that I’m going to use ready to go.

It’s also a great way for me to see everything together to make sure that the gallery will have a nice consistency to it and the photographs will all coordinate together however the client chooses to display them. Calliope | Puyallup, Washington Newborn Photographer

This sweet little strawberry blond haired girl and her family were so stinking adorable. The way big brother stepped in and was ready to snuggle his sister was as sweet as can be. Momma really wanted to incorporate some florals into the session and pay tribute to her grandmother. She even brought some special pieces of jewelry that I was more than happy to include. I’m sharing a few of my favorites from Miss Calliope’s session below.

We all know that winters in the Pacific northwest can be dark and damp and sometimes, the rain prevents us from photographing maternity sessions outdoors.

I recently purchased a new studio light and modifier for the studio specifically for photographing maternity sessions in the studio.

I picked up a few bodysuits and some fabric so we could really have fun with it

This momma was a total stunner! She rocked the session and together we created a beautiful gallery of photos.
