This tiny baby girl was born from a tiny baby momma who just so happened to be a tiny little girl back when I met her.  Evie’s mom was a good friend of my little sister’s growing up so I have known her for about 15 years now.  I have watched her grow up into an amazing woman and we have become very good friends.  She is married to a wonderful man (I totally approve) and a few weeks ago, they gave birth to the tiniest, sweetest little baby girl.  When they brought Evie in to see me, I could tell instantly that they were head-over-heels in love.  And when I held that little one in my arms, it was easy to see why!  She had the cutest little button nose and a head full of peachy fuzz.  Baby Evie slept like a rock from start to finish and was in and out of the studio in no time.  I’m so very much looking forward to watching her grow!  While I managed to capture a ton of adorable photos, I’m only sharing a few of my faves.  Be warned: these photos WILL give you baby fever!

After my workshop in San Diego the first week of February, I was itching to get to work and put to use all the amazing tips and techniques I had learned.  This 11 day baby girl came in to see me with her amazing family and totally rocked her newborn session.  She was in and out in under two hours and we were able to capture a ton of gorgeous images of her.  When her grandparents told me that they currently live up in Alaska, I saw the perfect opportunity to put to use my little Eskimo bonnet.  It looked just perfect on her, too!  At just 7.1 lbs and completely conked out, she was more than willing to curl up into those sweet little sleepy poses.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from her session. 🙂  ** Please note, as of now I currently have ONE opening for March and ONE opening for April and May is almost booked as well.  If you would like to schedule a newborn session, PLEASE be sure to contact me BEFORE your baby arrives!

This sweet little baby girl from Seattle came to see me on her 12th day.  She had the sweetest little lips and the cutest little face!  I’m pretty sure that she slept like a rock on the drive to the studio because when she showed up, she was pretty awake and very interested in what was going on around her. 🙂  This one most definitely made me work for it, but I’ll tell you what, for the few minutes that I managed to coax her to sleep, the images we captured turned out beautifully.

Backstory:  In one of these pictures, little Myrielle is clutching a little lamb.  This little lamb’s name is Bam-Ba-Lamb. (Whoa Black Betty, Bam-Ba-Lam… Whoa Black Betty, Bam-Ba-Lam) Bam-Ba-Lamb was a gift given to mom from dad, back before they were married.  It was important that we make sure to use it in their session.  The blanket and the darling matching outfit that her little sock monkey is wearing were also made-with-love, especially for little Myrielle.  <3
